The short version: Skies is a guide to the weather, not a safety service. These terms cover the website at skiesweather.app and the Android app. Updated 17 October 2026.

A guide, not a warning service

Forecasts, the rain map, beach scores, fishing and boating notes are estimates from weather models and radar. They can be wrong. For emergencies, follow the Bureau of Meteorology, your state emergency services and fire services. In danger, call 000.

The website

The website is free to use and shows one ad from Google, below the weather. How the ad works is on the privacy page.

Skies Plus (app)

Skies Plus is a subscription through Google Play, yearly or monthly, with a free trial on the yearly plan. It renews until you cancel in Google Play; cancelling keeps Plus until the end of the period you've paid for. Refunds follow Google Play's policy.

Fair use

Use Skies for your own weather. Don't copy its data in bulk, scrape the website or use it to build another service.

Data
